About Austin Pruett

I love studying the big questions in life! Over the past nine years I have studied the disciplines of philosophy, theology, logic, rhetoric, and psychology. I am quite intrigued by many questions such as questions about the characteristics of God, metaphysics of material constitution, free will and others. These are questions that have been around for centuries and it is a joy to read the greatest minds of the past and to see their take on the issues. If God gave humans rational thought, why not use it to the fullest extent? This is what drives my pursuit of knowledge and what I ultimately hope to pass on as a pursue a career in academics. I recently finished three master degrees from Southwestern Theological Seminary.For the past four years I have worked at Qualbe Marketing Group as an inside sales representative. Essentially my responsibility there is to convert inbound calls into paying customers for the dental plan that we offer. Over the years I have sold more than 5,500 plans resulting in over in revenue for the company. This experience has taught me how to interact and build rapport quickly with people. I believe this will be a valuable skill I can bring to any organization moving forward. As I have discovered in my previous employment and experience, my specialties include being highly detail oriented and being highly analytical. This comes from work history but also a result of my over 80 hours of graduate course work. This desire for problem solving also translates to my free time. I enjoy reading and watching videos on every day questions such as which car or laptop should I purchase.
