About Austin Soe

Hello! I’m a senior at UC Irvine majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Language Science, currently studying abroad at Yonsei University in South Korea. This international experience is expanding my global perspective while I continue developing a strong foundation in business, communication, and critical thinking. I’m currently exploring opportunities across business and tech, with a growing interest in cybersecurity, especially in how it intersects with finance, risk, and data protection. I enjoy working on multidisciplinary teams, learning through hands-on experience, and growing under strong mentorship. I'm also building technical skills and considering certifications to strengthen my path in the cybersecurity space. Outside of academics, I enjoy bowling, martial arts, video games and strategy games like Go and chess. My current favorite video games are League of Legends and Pokémon Go. I’ve coached League of Legends both privately and in the North American collegiate scene, and I play Pokémon Go for its fun community and social events.
