Background
About Austine Charles Jere
I am a Program Development Specialist with strong competency in pre-award and post-award grant management including horizon scanning, donor intelligence, bid writing, partner liaison, and project management. I have managed fundraising and project grants for academic charities, public universities, and international and local NGOs spanning areas of digital innovation, social enterprise, health research, and urban and housing policy. My intrigue is how different knowledge systems shape what we know about the world and the small bits in it. So with a PhD studentship from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia, I am currently researching how global imaginaries and local lived realities shape representation of health challenges and solutions in Malawi.
