About Austun Cherry

A sharp body and an even sharper mind lays the groundwork for enhancement. My name is Austun Cherry, the one and only. Seriously, I have yet to meet another “Austin” with a substitution “u” in place of the “i”. I'm a freelance digital communications specialist that operates around Northern Virginia and the DC-Metro area. Sharpening my skills daily through rigorous study and exercise, I strive to master the main subgroups of communications one day; a journey that I've enjoyed so far. Whether it’s advertising, marketing, admin work, public speaking/PR, or digital communications, I strive for excellence. Complete mastery, or die trying. I dedicate my every waking moment to expanding my skill-set in all aspects, not just the communications field. I'm an avid boxer, artist, writer, reader, and film editor. It’s all about discipline. My favorite field of study is writing. I’ve been writing since I was in kindergarten, writing and drawing comic books. Now, I write advertising copy, screenplays, and speeches/press releases. I'm looking to work for a company where I can do what I do best: be the support. The right hand man. The talon of God. Hand of the King. I think you get the point. Being the assist is something I've always admired, being that I live to serve; a knight rather than a king. “Ask not what one can do for you, but what you can do for others.”.
