Hi, I’m Autumn, a Communications Strategist dedicated to advancing reproductive justice through digital strategy. My career began as a content creator and digital brand strategist, working with brands like Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia (PPAV) and Vocal Media. During my time at PPAV, I grew their Instagram following by 21% and TikTok by 441.5%. With my collective time at PPAV and supporting Vocal Media during the 2024 election cycle, my reproductive freedom content has generated over views across TikTok alone, engaging audiences on key reproductive justice issues. After nearly a year and a half as Digital Communications Associate at PPAV, I joined Blue Ridge Abortion Fund (BRAF) as Communications & Development Coordinator. Within six months, I was promoted to Communications Director, expanding my role from digital content to overseeing a full communications strategy. In addition to leading email marketing, social media, media outreach, and a website overhaul, I manage a cohort of volunteers who support the day-to-day communications needs, ensuring that all efforts align with our mission. Passionate about using digital media to create change, I’m also pursuing Spanish Interpretation certification (after spending extensive time living abroad in Spain) to ensure that reproductive justice messaging is accessible to diverse communities and that all voices are heard.
