About Ava Augustus

My name is Ava Augustus born and raised in Colorful Colorado. I recently received my Bachelor of Arts in Communications at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. I spent four years at this fantastic University and gained more knowledge on navigating through this world with intermediate Design Skills and Advanced Communication skills. I spent two years in the Graphic Design program. Joining the Graphic Design Program assisted me in gaining an understanding of how to implement a strategy with a process, proposal, and structured foundation. Being a part of the Graphic Design Program at Grand Canyon University helped me improve my skills in programs such as Abode creative cloud, 3D Maya, and Adobe Illustrator. Although the program taught me how to advance my creativity, I needed to create a way to communicate my creativity to the world. The humanities and social sciences program brought me closer to people like me who want to be the change we see in this world. Not only am I driven by a dedication to change within myself, but I am also driven for change within the world, which is what I call being a part of something extraordinary.
