About Ava Bollinger

I graduated from The Ohio State University, where I studied business with a specialization in Finance. After holding an internship with Charles Schwab in the summer of 2020, I returned to the Retirement Business Services department to work as an associate in Client Services. I am intrigued by the different aspects relating to business and I have enjoyed using my undergraduate education to attribute a unique perspective in the realm of financial services. I began my work experience in the restaurant industry where I practiced essential skills such as leadership, teamwork, and responsibility. I had to work in a team environment to ensure the other aspects of the restaurant were running smoothly. I continued to use these skills, among many others, in my next professional position at Wealthgate Trust Company. At Wealthgate I had the opportunity to work closely among my superiors, allowing me to gain insight on what my potential career could look like in the financial industry. This intern position initiated much growth as an individual and as a participant in the business world as a whole. This experience lead me to the retirement industry where I was privileged to have an intern opportunity with Charles Schwab. I was thrilled when I got an offer to be a full-time employee and have enjoyed my time with Schwab since.
