Background

About Ava Hoehne

I’m a recent graduate from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Public Relations and Strategic Communication, now actively seeking full-time opportunities in PR, marketing, and communications. With hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, social media management, and content creation, I’ve developed a strong foundation in strategic messaging, brand storytelling, and digital engagement. My background includes managing social media campaigns, designing marketing materials, and writing press releases, newsletters, and email content that align with brand voice and goals. Whether through internship roles or leadership experience in organizations like the YWCA and Kappa Alpha Theta, I’ve built a reputation for being creative, organized, and results-driven. I’m passionate about using thoughtful communication to make meaningful connections and drive impact. Now based in the DFW area, I’m excited to bring my energy, skills, and strategic mindset to a team where I can continue to grow and make a difference.
