About Ava Nickman

As Franchise Training & Launch Manager at Pause, I’m privileged to play a key role in scaling a mission-driven brand that’s redefining recovery and self-care. My focus is on empowering franchise partners through impactful training, strategic onboarding, and operational readiness - ensuring each studio opens strong and delivers a world-class guest experience from day one. With a background as General Manager at Pause Studio Brentwood, I bring firsthand experience from the studio floor into every strategic decision I make. I understand what it takes to lead teams, drive performance, and create a culture where people feel seen, supported, and inspired. My work includes learning strategy, curriculum development, franchise communications, systems configuration and integration, KPI analysis, team development, and sales strategy and training. Whether I’m designing a new training program or working one-on-one with a franchisee, my goal is always the same: to empower people with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to succeed. Because at its core, this work is about more than systems and strategy — it’s about helping people help others. We’re in the business of making people feel good, and that’s a beautiful thing to be part of.
