About Ava Odden

As I enter my senior year of college majoring in Apparel Merchandising with a minor in Media and Creative Advertising and Environmental Studies, I look forward to expanding my education and knowledge to a deeper level. I am involved on and off campus in retail and media extracurriculars and am committed to growing into a career that highlights my strong work ethic, passion, and leadership skills. I am a dedicated student who works in and out of the classroom on retail, media, and communication projects. My experience as a Social Media Intern for Rescripted, a womens health company, included working closely with the Chief Creative Officer to expand my creative knowledge and improve my collaboration skills. Additionally, working as a retail marketing intern for Twirlista, a company specializing in sustainable fashion, sharpened my knowledge on coordinating and marketing events as well as advising buyers on product selection through trend forecasting. I also have enhanced my creative and communication skills by involving myself on campus with Season Magazine’s Marketing and Communication team and Retail Studies Organization. Entering the next chapter with creativity and passion, I hope to find a career in retail, media, communications, or sustainability.
