About Ava Sarris

Throughout my life, helping others has been an integral part of who I am. I chose a career in financial services because I believe I can make a difference in the lives of families in my community of Greater Boston. At Edward Jones, we strive to make sure clients feel heard, and that we understand their unique story. We also work to help clients understand the investment world in terms they can relate to. After graduating Northeastern University in May of 2020 with a degree in Business Administration and starting a career in the midst of a global pandemic, I quickly realized how important learning about personal finance is. When diving into this personal finance world, I uncovered a deep passion for assisting others in achieving their goals, navigating their finances and fostering a sense of confidence and pride in their financial journey. This past April, I got engaged to my partner, Eric, and we live in Somerville with our rescued cat named Gideon. On the weekends, you can find us running the Somerville Community bike path or along the Charles River, battling on the local tennis courts, or enjoying a picnic at our neighboring parks. We also share a love for a challenging jigsaw puzzle and board games that highlight the use of strategy and critical thinking. Just as I love unraveling complex puzzles on the game board, I am equally passionate about untangling financial challenges and accomplishing financial goals in real life.
