I am an accomplished pharmacist (Pharm D) with experience in various sectors including; specialty pharmacy, hospital, retail, and industry. I am proficient with electronic health records (EHR) and eMAR software's such as EPIC, Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) and PointClickCare (PCC). Key attributes include, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to build and maintain strong work relationships; acting as a positive company representative. Foothills Medical Centre, one of Canada's largest hospitals, is where I have been providing pharmaceutical care and drug distribution functions for over 12 years as a Clinical Pharmacist. I have leveraged my additional prescribing authority and injection administration skills to deliver optimal medication therapy and patient education in various departments, such as Cardiac Surgery, Cardiology, Palliative Care, and Internal Medicine. I also worked as a Mobile Pharmacist at a specialty pharmacy, Care Rx (division of Centric Health) for 6.5 years with a 90-100% travel time. Here, I independently managed the needs of multiple supportive living facilities all across Calgary and beyond. Furthermore, I assisted in onboarding new start-up facilities while continuing to achieve high clinical revenues. I am passionate about relationship building and business development and my career goal is to identify gaps in the medication treatment continuum in hopes for future research, development and optimized care.
