About Averi White

Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. My interests include global medicine, point-of-care ultrasound, quality improvement/patient safety, bedside procedures, teaching, and advocacy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I was a President's Scholar at Southern Methodist University where I graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry, along with Honors in liberal arts. I attended UT Health San Antonio for both medical school and residency. I graduated residency with my SHM/CHEST POCUS certification and completed a chief year in quality improvement and patient safety through the National Center for Patient Safety.
