About Avery Corcoran

I'm a passionate mental health professional who obtained my Master’s in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology at the University of Washington, with a strong foundation in evidence-based treatments and a deep commitment to supporting youth and families. With experience at Seattle Children’s Hospital and Rogers Behavioral Health, I've had the opportunity to work across various levels of care and age groups—facilitating parent and teen groups, conducting intake assessments, and delivering interventions grounded in CBT, DBT, PBMT, and ERP. I thrive in collaborative, high-acuity environments where I can integrate compassion with clinical expertise to provide holistic care. In addition to direct clinical work, I take pride in mentoring new staff and practicum students, supporting documentation processes, and contributing to clinic operations and outreach efforts. Whether it’s helping a family navigate behavioral challenges or guiding new clinicians through their training, I aim to create impact through empathy, structure, and education. I'm especially interested in bridging clinical practice with community support systems to help kids not just cope—but thrive.
