About Avery Donahue

I graduated this past spring from Harvard University where I concentrated in Economics, received a secondary in Psychology, and a citation in Spanish. With my education, I found an interest in the intersection between business operations and human behavior. During my time at Harvard I was also an athlete for both the Harvard Field Hockey team and the Under 21 USA National Field Hockey Team. While on these teams, I learned how to manage my time effectively, collaborate with people of different backgrounds in a team environment, and problem-solve creatively both on and off the field. Currently, I am continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill where I am pursuing my Masters of Sports Management through the Graduate School and am also a member of the field hockey team. I am hoping to combine my knowledge gained in undergrad, my passion and experience in athletics, with a more specific curriculum in understanding sports administration to have a well-rounded background to enter a role in sports post graduation.
