I was in retail for 15 years and needed to make a change when I stumbled upon the mortgage industry in 2015. I immediately fell in love ‍ with helping people feel confident in the process of qualifying for and understanding what it means to get a mortgage. The story of one of my girlfriend's buying her very first home had a huge impact on me. Her story is TRAGIC. No one explained the process to her or went over her options with her at any point. She cried at the closing table and NEVER wanted to buy a home again.
