Recent Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) graduate, currently enrolled in its MBA program, and on the School’s basketball team (consistently in the top 20 D3 program). High school & college summer work experience has augmented analytical, leadership, collaboration, innovation & entrepreneurial skills, and laid a foundation for knowledge in market research, customer insights/analytics, and clear communication. Ability to troubleshoot/develop effective, customized solutions. During senior year, as member of a 7 student group from various engineering disciplines, collaborated on a Capstone project with Corning Glass to address a 4-year old defect in Corning's manufacturing process of medication bottles that caused filling/weighing issued & resulted in financial losses. Solution involved the development of a machine designed to collect/test vials, and identify the defective bottles. Earlier, as an Engineering Intern with CPS Energy, enhanced a 1300 MW Power Plant’s performance & economics through problem solving/collaboration. Working in a team environment (engineers, operators, administrators), and leading day to day project mgt, enabled Plant personnel to become self-sufficient in accessing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams files by streamlining the files’ organization. Also provided a solution to clean the soot boiler, overcoming problematic high pressure & costly fixes. Before, working as a Market Research intern for Pioneer Square Labs, an incubator and venture capital firm, conducted two market research projects: one for a renewable energy company on a climate-based startup, and one for a veterinary care startup to ascertain the feasibility of a mobile clinic. Based on findings, provided recommendations for each project. First engineering experience was as a Construction Worker for Long House Builders during high school. Saw the building process from vision to drawings to creating a structure, learned importance of an effective process, accurate measurements/data.
