Producer, broadcaster, and internationally active creative with over 25 years of experience working at the intersection of Japanese and Western media, culture, and industry. Currently producing at GPlusMedia / Japan Today in Tokyo, one of Japan's longest-running English-language publications, and a platform I have followed since its inception. I was born into a world that spans continents. Raised between Montreal, New York, and Los Angeles, I first moved to Japan in 1998 and spent the better part of a decade embedded in its television, film, education, and corporate worlds, not as an outside observer, but as a working insider. I have lived, worked, studied, and built relationships in Japan long enough to understand not just the language, but the unspoken registers of culture that determine whether a deal gets made, a story lands, or a team trusts you. That dual fluency, bilingual English/Japanese, and bicultural in the deepest sense, has been the throughline of everything I do. Whether I am producing a broadcast series, executive producing a film, consulting on Japan-market entry, localizing content for international distribution, or translating in real time between a director and their Japanese cast, I operate with the credibility of someone who has earned their place in both rooms. My clients and collaborators across 25 years have included NHK, NTV, TV Asahi, TV Tokyo, Fuji TV, FOX, Sony, Nintendo, and Netflix. I have worked in Canada, Japan, the United States, Germany, Korea, and India. My credits span on-air hosting, news broadcasting, series producing, executive producing, assistant directing, acting, event management at the scale of world expos and global music festivals, and corporate consulting at the board level. I am not someone who bridges cultures from a distance.
