I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. As a Senior nursing student, I have gained a solid foundation in patient assessment, medication administration, and the importance of a holistic, compassionate approach to nursing. My commitment to helping others is evident through my leadership roles as a Peer Mentor and Student Ambassador. Through these positions I was able to connect with students, understand their needs, and foster a positive campus environment. In addition, I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a Health Clinic Volunteer where I learned how to think critically and make decisions under pressure. Through hands on clinical experience, I have strengthened my communication skills and grown a passion for advocating for patients rights/needs.
