About Avik Halder

As an advanced analytics leader in quantitative market research, my primary responsibility is to design and implement advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from large and complex survey and consumer datasets from various different industries like financial sector, healthcare, CPG, auto industry etc. I am responsible for developing and using statistical modelling, machine learning, and other advanced techniques to analyze market trends, consumer behavioural segmentation, pricing analysis, competitor analysis and other relevant survey and consumer data. I manage a team of data scientists not only to deliver projects to the client but also to develop new analytical tools. I and my team work closely with the development team to offer a product version of the newly developed analytics offering. Here are some of the analytics tools we have developed: Automated Attribution Modeling, Conjoint analysis, MaxDiff, Sudaria (automated survey data cleaning tool), and truncation of the long surveys without reducing data availability and quality. Client communication is a major part of my responsibility and strength. My responsibility is to feel them (clients) comfortable enough to come to us with any analytical questions/projects in the field of market research. I work very closely with our sales team and account managers to answers any standard and non-standard questions.
