Avin has served in various functions in Oil and Gas across the United Kingdom, North America, Latin America, Gulf of Mexico, Brazil and the Caribbean where he has had an impecable record of Service Delivery under broad company objectives, managing complex drilling & technical issues & leading teams. In his most recent role in Trinidad, Avin was able to drive sales growth and increase revenue through optimization of Plant & Machinery, improve Engineering practices & its overall efficiency. Under his lead, Avin was able to increase revenue in small business he worked with in the first year by rebranding & Strategic Services offered. Avin is a team builder with a unique set of skills & a strategic approach across all disciplines of upstream Drilling Services has allowed his Management of Projects to overlap into Sales providing customers answers while drilling and r increased sales of tools and Services through training, expertise and an uncanny ability to influence with customers with empathy & charismatic leadership qualities. Avin holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering Degree. He is a member of Professional Associations which include the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad & Tobago (APETT), & the Canadian Society of Engineering Management (CSEM). A 25 yr Volunteer, Leader, Assessor & Awardee of the Duke of Edinburgh International Award, last served as Research Officer on the National Training panel & has lead his country on several Foreign Expeditions, influencing the lives of many youths. Avin more recently, developed & led Hurricane Relief efforts for both Dominica and Bahamas bringing aid to thousands. Avin is hobbiest of sorts, & holds, a Cricket West Indies Coaching Certificate, FCC Amateur Radio General License, Advanced PADI cert, a Tactical Combat Casuality Care Medic Certificate, International Award Expedition Leaders Certificate, a white belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, & a Royal Yachting Association Skippers Licence, RYA, needless to say enjoys sailing.
