More than 15 years of work experience performing software design, development, testing, research & maintenance of softwares in C/C++ on various unix (Solaris/Linux/HP-UX) platforms. Currently working in Database replication domain for last 8 years and considered the expert of this domain. Reverse engineered the MySQL transaction logs and have written the extractor for the same. The product is responsible for replicating the real time data from any source database to any target database (Oracle Goldengate). Exposure to internals of many prominent databases like MYSQL, Sybase, Informix, Timesten, DB2-luw and data warehousing appliances like Teradata and Netezza. A patent was awarded for developing a Database Replication product for MySQL database (PATENT-8510270). Currently working as a “Software Development Manager” in Oracle India Pvt Ltd Bangalore, India and contributing to the product design, development, design reviews, code reviews, and research work. Decoded communication between Sybase Adaptive Server and Sybase replication server by parsing the TDS protocol and extracted the Sybase transaction log data for the same as part of the POC. Involved in many innovative ideas and their implementations, which helped companies winning the confidence of the customer, also encouraged the team to file more and more innovations. A very successful mentor/guide for the team, who mentored the team technically as well as morally on various projects and situations. Experience and Proficiency in C, C++, Network Programming, Shell Programming(C shell/Bourne shell) and Object Oriented Analysis and Design. Having ample experience on object oriented design using UML and Design Patterns. Experience and expertise on various domains like Energy & Utilities, Internet Security, Database Replications, Telecom and Storage.
