Optical Materials Physicist | Physics Educator | Spectroscopy & Glass Technology Expert I am a Ph.D. holder in Physics from NIT Karnataka, specializing in rare-earth doped and plasmon-enhanced glass materials with high-performance optical properties. My research lies at the interface of optical physics, material design, and advanced spectroscopic analysis, focused on developing next-generation materials for photonics and optoelectronic applications. 🧪 With a strong foundation in glass synthesis, thermal analysis, and characterization techniques (PL, UV-Vis-NIR, FTIR, XRD, SEM), I have successfully led multiple research projects optimizing the structural and luminescent properties of doped borate, borophosphate and borosilicate glasses. My Ph.D. work involved optimizing glass processing via Taguchi DOE, and exploring light-matter interactions through the Judd–Ofelt framework. Beyond research, I have 5+ years of academic teaching and mentoring experience, guiding students in solid-state physics, spectroscopy, and competitive exams like IIT-JAM, NET, and GATE. I believe in combining clarity, curiosity, and creativity to empower students and drive collaborative learning.
