Professional Expertise: Semiconductor chip development: GaN, SiC, Si, MEMS Sensors, opto-sensors, micro-LED and power semiconductors Metrology: wafer analysis with Ellipsometer, Nanometrics, interferometer, AFM, Ultrasonic measurement, Argos measurement, wafer probing. Physical failure analysis using electron and probe Microscopies (SEM, FIBSEM, TEM, HRTEM, AFM, FLu) and Spectroscopies (XRD, RAMAN, FTIR, XPS, UV-Vis, PL) and detail analysis. Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP) & Deposition (CVD/ALD) • Oversee and develop CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polishing) and grinding processes for metal and non-metal thinning process supporting 150, 200 and 300mm wafer fab for optoelectronics chip development. • Supervise and control the CMP process line for semiconductor chip manufacturing, ensuring quality planarization and qualification. • Develop and Optimize techniques to improve CMP efficiency, for improved wafer yield, minimizing defects, and ensuring product performance. • Support and manage feedback loop to optimize sputtering processes for thin-film deposition in semiconductor fabrication. Front-End Chip Development • Oversee the development of front-end processes in semiconductor fabrication, including photolithography, etching, and material deposition. Process Development Criteria• Establish clear criteria for process development, ensuring that processes are optimized for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality. Tool Procurement & Qualification• Manage and coordinate the tool qualification and installation process the procurement process for semiconductor fabrication tools and equipment, ensuring they meet industry and product specifications. Process FMEA, PPCM, SPC, RCA & 7 QC Tools • Conduct and lead Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), PPCM to identify potential process failures, process modification and develop mitigation strategies. • Continuously improving training materials to reflect process changes and technological advances. • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities to troubleshoot production and quality issues, ensuring the identification and resolution of underlying problems. •.
