In my career I have been fortunate to be in both the corporate and leisure markets, having been in the industry for just over 18 years I have worked my way up from a receptionist and eventually a manager within a good space of time. These opportunities provided a wealth of expertise in not only the establishment of new hotels but also within the integral running & development of various departments and profitable hotel operations. Challenges faced ranged from construction, resource shortages, economic challenges and industrial relations. The hospitality industry is a very dynamic environment which requires the continued ability to change and adapt to new opportunities, challenges and client needs. I have been fortunate enough to host some of the world’s highest profile and celebrities alike. I have strong relations skills able to gel with all departments, building relationships and ensuring the task is completed in a professional manner, being in the hospitality industry makes you a dynamic candidate and multitasking becomes a culture that one quickly adapts to. I have Managed a Quarantine hotel through Covid 19 Pandemic, which allowed me to see hospitality through a different scope, ensuring the guest and staff were well taken care off during one of the toughest periods in hospitality.
