Key duties include driving business growth through sales and new customer acquisition, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, managing and mentoring staff, overseeing financial performance and reporting, and fostering positive community relationships. Key responsibilities include: 1. Business Development & Revenue Growth: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to expand the customer base and increase the branch's revenue, often by promoting various bank products and services. Staff Leadership & Development: Guide, support, and mentor branch staff, ensuring they have the training and resources to perform effectively and deliver excellent customer service. Financial Management: Monitor and analyze branch financial performance, prepare reports for senior management, and develop strategies to improve profitability and efficiency. Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, ensure smooth workflow across departments, and resolve customer queries and complaints to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies, including know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) procedures, and mitigate operational risks. Customer & Community Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and represent the branch in local community organizations to enhance its public image. Reporting & Communication: Prepare detailed reports on branch activities, financial metrics, and customer feedback for higher-level management and effectively communicate with internal stakeholders.
