I believe exercise is an integral part of daily living, but it should be specified to the individual’s physiological profile, preferences, expectations and concerns. I am currently pursuing an employment opportunity that allows me to continue to promote well-being in the Vancouver community. My scientific training and job experience gives me the proficiency to test and prescribe for chronically unwell individuals with the safest and most scientifically sound exercise therapy to date. Current roles-Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (American College of Sports Medicine)-Clinical Exercise Physiologist at LIVE WELL (North Vancouver, Canada) Experience & training in-Disease prevention & rehabilitation (9 years in the workforce)-Tailored Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (respiratory gas analysis) for chronically unwell, and recreationally fit/unfit persons-Rest/exercise 12-lead electrocardiography monitoring -Certified Dual X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) operator for body composition, total body bone mineral density, and visceral fat analyses -sport performance testing and training -providing education and research update seminars on tailored exercise for health Ancillary roles include experience in-University tutoring -private 1-on-1 personal training -customer service roles -Dietary analysis & advice within CEP scope of practise Attributes-Passionate about health -Always keen to acquire new skills, seek on-going learning, and solve problems -Self-motivated, highly reliable and resilient to change For further information about my current role experiences please don't hesitate to add me to your network.
