Queer ‍ Transgender ‍ Jew I’m a silly, serious, and sensitive humanoid who works hard for a good cause, be it your business or social change. And I love emojis. I'm seriously visual. Of course, as Paula Scher says,"Typography is painting with words." I hope to become a master painter. I donate time when I’m able, because I think it important to contribute to everyone’s success, not just my own; and, change only really happens if we all do what we can. We must do better. We must be better. Or we are doomed to be what we have always been. That said, I haven’t made much money in life and am just learning to prioritize my family and myself as much as I have prioritized others. It’s definitely a shift, and a worthwhile one. Balance breeds creativity and joy. The more I find my own center the better I am in my personal and professional life, simple. I’ve worked hard since I was 9 yo. I’ve sorted mail and I’ve sorted recycling. I’ve worked as VP of Marketing, data manager, and marketing associate. I worked at Sybase and Microsoft, had my own graphic design company and handyperson business. Both businesses made enough money to support me, my significant other, dogs, hobbies like motorcycles, and some contractors. Art direction has been my greatest joy thus far in my long and winding career, that and designing for and press-checking large print projects.(Oh, the love and joy I feel for a spot gloss varnish with embossing and a triple hit of black and only solid pms colors (instead of 4-color process) on a 12-color press. Wow I miss that!) I’ve been working on Adobe products for over 20 years, but after an extended hiatus, I took a year course, 25 hrs. a week, in Interactive Media, which included the entire Adobe Creative Cloud.
