About Ayaka Murakami

I am a corporate sales representative in the Event Management Department of Appcogroup Japan. I have been interested in English and foreign countries since I was in kindergarten. I have been interested in English and foreign countries since I was in kindergarten. I went to Australia for a month in elementary school, Canada for a month in junior high school, and the Netherlands for a year in high school. After graduating from high school, I went to college in New York, USA, where I majored in tourism management and served as the head of the multicultural department. In 2011, after the Great East Japan Earthquake, I founded and served as the president of Pray for Japan, an organization that received the Student leader of the year award. While in school, I interned at The Walt Disney world for a year, and I am confident in my hospitality and cross-cultural understanding. After returning to Japan, I worked for McDonald's Japan Corporation, where I sublimated my hospitality skills and experienced store management as an assistant manager. I am particularly good at recruiting and developing human resources, and when I was assigned to a store suffering from a chronic shortage of human resources, I increased the number of staff from 25 to 48 through continuous recruiting activities. He also switched from full-time employees with high labor costs to part-time workers with short working hours, improving the profit margin per employee by 10%. However, I was often asked by part-time employees for advice on their future career paths, and I noticed that many of them talked about wanting to study abroad. I decided to change jobs and worked as a study abroad counselor at Human Academy Co. However, I was having trouble utilizing my English skills and hospitality experience, and when I was offered a position with a travel agency in the U.S, I decided to take on the challenge of changing careers. Just before I left for the U.S, the company went bankrupt due to Corona, and I changed jobs to my current position at Appcogroup JAPAN CO. In addition to corporate sales for events, I am now responsible for a wide range of other tasks besides sales, such as training new employees, creating training manuals, interviewing, and creating recruitment manuals, utilizing the experience I have accumulated up to now.
