About Ayan Majumdar

Ayan has 23+ years experience in SAP having deep expertise in offering builds, SAP implementation sales & solutioning, delivery of programmes including risk & issue management, financial management; setting up Offshoring Processes and practices leveraging best practices including defining relevant governance, delivery excellence parameters, extensive people management and leading by example. He has played leadership roles at IBM and PwC in Practice Management, Sales & Solutioning and Delivery of critical core SAP consulting deals across the globe thereby managing teams of practitioners. While in IBM, Ayan had built successfully an offering development along with SAP which focuses on helping clients to move to SAP S/4HANA in a minimum risk method, while realising business benefits - all encapsulated through heavy leverage of automation, risk management, etc. In 2009-2010, he was the SAP project manager for a $25M+ implementation project for an Utility client at Birmingham, UK leading a multi-cultural team of 100+ team. As a SAP consultant, he has more than six end-to-end SAP project implementation experiences in SAP PS, PP and SAP APO area cutting across manufacturing, steel and consumer products industries. He is well versed with SAP implementation methodologies having defined project accelerators, estimation matrices in various areas. He has also expertise in additional skills needed in SAP projects like LSMW, ABAP query, Mercury QTP, etc. Ayan had also been the faculty in SAP trainings on behalf of SAP India.
