About Ayanda Sobayeni

Born in a small town in the Eastern Cape called Lusikisiki, Prince Sobayeni is a football writer, digital scout, a player manager and reporter that focusses on player monitoring, discovering, profiling, recruiting and reporting. He is also a player liaison who deals with managing relations with players, their clubs and their families for the benefit of all stakeholders involved. His journey in this field started twelve years ago and he has made some massive strides in bringing the journey of the players closer to the South African public through various platforms and initiatives. In this period, over 70 young players have been discovered around the world using the tools of digital scouting and player tracking, but it is just the beginning - there is much more to come. South Africa has over 100 players plying their trade in leagues around the world, so the work must continue.
