About Ayanna Haysbert-Wright

With a strong foundation in Human Services and Early Childhood Education and currently pursuing my BA in Psychology at Notre Dame de Namur University, I bring a deep commitment to supporting individuals and communities through both education and advocacy. In my current role as Academic Affairs Operations Coordinator at Menlo College, I manage key academic processes including FMX classroom logistics, course scheduling, catalog updates, and organizing signature events such as Honors Convocation. I thrive in environments where attention to detail, collaboration, and student-centered planning come together to make a lasting impact. In addition to my administrative work, I’m a dedicated mental health advocate and active volunteer with BACHAC and various San Mateo County initiatives. I’ve been honored to serve as a panelist and speaker for events such as Stamp Out the Stigma, Hip Housing's Holiday Celebration, and as a featured guest on KFAX Radio on behalf of Support Circle. I’m also a published digital storytelling author and a recipient of the Giving Thanks to Oaks Award. In every space I occupy—whether on campus, in the community, or on a panel—I strive to amplify voices, reduce stigma surrounding mental health, and promote equity through empathy, education, and action.
