About Ayano Fushida
A PhD student at the Graduate School of Biostudies, Kyoto University, currently based at the Center of Brain Science, RIKEN (Wako, Saitama). My research focuses on investigating whether differentiation ability of human cortical neural progenitor cells vary in different cell cycle phases using various molecular biology, imaging and NGS techniques. Previously have worked in characterisation of ‘cloaked’ donor cell that can escape rejection by the immune system for potential cell therapy (Master's - Biotechnology), as well as investigating the shedding frequency of geckos (Bachelor's - Zoology).
