I am currently enrolled as a second-year law student (2L) at the esteemed Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City. Before this, I earned my bachelor's degree in Latin American Border Studies from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX.My professional journey has been diverse, reflecting my multifaceted interests in music, film, and law. Alongside my academic pursuits, I've gained valuable experience across various service-industry roles, including four years as a waitress, a style consultant at a thrift store, and a writing tutor for five years. My internships have further showcased my diverse interests, particularly in the realm of film. Notably, I had the privilege of completing an exceptional internship with both Blowback Productions and Mission Critical Productions, where I immersed myself in the intricacies of documentary film production and gained invaluable insights into the industry. Additionally, I undertook an internship with a focus on diversity and education, where I deepened my understanding of the importance of inclusive practices within various sectors of higher education. These experiences have enriched my perspective and fortified my resolve to pursue a career in entertainment law, particularly within independent film, music, or television.Looking ahead, my ambition is to carve a path in entertainment law, with a dedicated focus on independent film, music, or television.
