Background

About Ayesha Davalos

With over 15 years of experience in international cooperation, I have provided high-level executive and administrative support at the U.S. Department of State and USAID/Mexico. Throughout my career, I have specialized in project management, particularly in organizing and coordinating strategic meetings at the international level. I coordinated high-level meetings, strategic retreats, and engagements with key internal and external stakeholders, including global partners, donors, and consultants. I also maintained organized digital and physical records, compiled and synthesized information for institutional reports, and facilitated communication across technical and administrative teams. Most recently, I support the Director of the Office of Science and Innovation, and the Director of the Transformation Office at CIMMYT, managing calendars, travel logistics, and institutional follow-up for senior leadership. My approach is focused on operational efficiency, meeting deadlines, and ensuring the effective execution of processes in multicultural and high-performing environments.
