About Ayles Mullis

I was fresh out of graduate school when i took my first career position as a wellness director in senior living. Over the next nearly four years I worked to build two of our own balance programs, create many different types of exercise classes, provide presentations on various topics, hold personal training sessions, lead a small team and completed regular fitness assessments. Most importantly, I worked to get and keep over 80% of our community physically active with my small team and regular interns. Additionally, I got certified in Delay the Disease Parkinson’s exercise program, I took a deep dive in learning how to work with someone with dementia, I gained incredible skills when working with the older adult and many common conditions they face. After almost four years, a new opportunity arose for me at Wellstar health system. I was so eager to come work at a medical based fitness facility. This adventure has been nearly 2.5 years of lots of growth in leadership skills, learning to manage a team of nearly 30 direct reports, revamping processes and building even more exercise programs for special populations which is my absolute favorite. I thoroughly enjoy training team members and interns on how to create programs, complete projects, use our software and be the best they can be in our industry! I’m passionate about medically based fitness, special populations and developing team members. I’m here to learn - I thoroughly enjoy gaining new skills To be the best leader I can be- consistently working to navigate all situations as best as possible To help train and complete projects with new hires and interns - I thoroughly enjoy training people on software, job duties and expanding their medical fitness knowledge To make wellness part of all our lives- utilizing all dimensions of wellness and applying them to the lives of team members as well as clients.
