My experience includes leading regulatory change efforts managing relationships with regulators and industry stakeholders and overseeing compliance framework and policy development as well as internal audit functions within prominent financial services organisations. Previous experience includes: - Leading advocacy and response development for Hollard Westpac and the broader insurance industry during significant government inquiries and reviews including the Hayne Royal Commission and investigations by ASIC APRA and the ACCC. - Developing innovative regulatory change compliance and governance initiatives for Hollard and Westpac Institutional Bank which strengthened regulatory risk management and long-term oversight capabilities. - Managing compliance and funding for a $40 million investment portfolio focused on renewable energy and R&D projects contributing to significant cost reductions while achieving carbon emissions targets for major Australian manufacturers. - Enhancing the performance of various Australian Government agencies by aligning with ISO COSO and Basel standards and integrating with Six Sigma and PRINCE2 resulting in clearer accountabilities streamlined processes and more effective risk management and compliance.
