About Aymane E.

During my time at USF, I worked as a Resident Assistant. Overseeing 50+ students at a time and the transition from the original dorms built in 1956 to the opening of the new student housing facility, The project was the largest Public-Private Partnership in the state of Florida. I served as Vice President of the USF Club Flag Football Team, touring the nation and competing. I co-ran an impactful blog with one of my best friends, Interviewing notable industry creatives, fashion models, musicians, and artists. I co-pitched a startup with a colleague to address campus parking congestion using IoT sensors on a decentralized network in collaboration with BOSCH. Our startup was accepted into the Student Innovation Incubator (SII). I worked at USF’s Big Data Lab as a Research Analyst for two years, analyzing COVID-19 and political mis/disinformation on Twitter. I was one of three students granted special access to conduct the research on Facebook Databases via CrowdTangle. I later transitioned into Property Technology with Ribbon Home. I worked as a Data Analytics Intern on the Data Analytics + Engineering team. In this role, I had the opportunity to learn company level analytics and dive deep into GCP and other tools. That summer, I co-led a market intelligence project that involved gathering, cleaning, and analyzing third-party property data to increase revenue. I developed scripts to query terabytes of data from 22 major listing service end points simultaneously in Snowflake. This provided key insights into seller/buyer competitiveness across 15 different markets for internal teams. With another pivot, I moved into the securities market. At MarketAxess, I worked as a Data Analyst on the Business Management Team. I supported sales teams worldwide (APAC, EMEA, Latin America, North America) with ad hoc requests and weekly/monthly reporting. I collaborated extensively across different teams to clean our Salesforce database, develop an all-in-one Tableau dashboard for sales teams to track compensation, and to create an external reporting tool. I conducted demos of our reporting tool for Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and other Tier 1 institutions. I encouraged best practices for organizing and sharing reports, authoring an Employee Resource Guide for incoming Sales Analysts. Currently, I work part-time as a Data Analyst with Oyate Group, a nonprofit in the Bronx making a significant impact on the community and youth.
