About Ayush K.

Actively seeking roles in the pharmaceutical or industrial biotechnology sector, especially in companies focused on biosimilars, enzyme production, or bioprocess development—where I can contribute using my academic background and hands-on research experience. With a B.Tech in Biotechnology from Jaipur National University and an M.Tech in Industrial Biotechnology from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, I have developed a solid foundation in the techniques and operational knowledge required for upstream and downstream processing, along with expertise in bioprocess and bioreactor engineering. In my undergraduate project, I worked on gene cloning, gaining experience in molecular biology techniques and genetic manipulation from CSIR-IHBT. During my M.Tech, I undertook a research project in NITK, on the synthesis and optimization of cerium-doped ZnO nanoparticles for antimicrobial applications—focusing on improving their efficacy and understanding their interaction with microbial systems. This work enhanced my skills in nanoparticle synthesis, material characterization, and experimental optimization. Additionally, I was the first trainee under my research guide at NITK, where I took responsibility for lab setup, procurement, and coordination—developing a strong sense of ownership, organization, and adaptability. I'm particularly interested in roles involving upstream/downstream operations, bioprocess optimization, fermentation, and quality control in the biosimilar or enzyme manufacturing space. I'm eager to join a team where science meets impact and where I can continue to learn, contribute, and grow.
