About Ayushi Singh

Hello there! My name is Ayushi, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Management and Professional Accounting (MMPA) at the University of Toronto. With time, there has been immense development in various fields such as business, science, and technology. Therefore, the opportunities are no longer restricted to a particular field. I have studied in the STEM field throughout my high school and undergraduate. Thus, in an attempt to explore different career paths, I took a sociology course where I studied the intersection between healthcare and business, which piqued my interest in business and healthcare management. I joined the MMPA program to develop a career in the accounting and business field and unlock a bold new future. As an academic tutor for math, my role has made me very compatible with numbers while enhancing my mathematical and deductive reasoning skills. Furthermore, my role as a Research Assistant (RA) in the various lab has taught me excellent skills to collect and analyze data. Additionally, I believe the solid written, innovative and time management skills acquired through rigorous biology and psychology courses during undergrad have prepared me to become a great accountant and manager. Whenever I get time away from the books, I love to cook! Cooking is an art of adjustment which has taught me patience and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Nonetheless, the ability to create a delicious meal from scratch has taught me innovativeness. Someone great once said that our diet is a bank account and good food choices are good investments!
