About Ayuska Motha

My interest in environmental issues (such as climate change, urban air quality, toxics in our environment) stems from my love of nature. For decades, I have also been interested in their disproportionate impacts, exposure and risks on women, minorities, lower-income and other underrepresented, under-resourced groups. I enjoy working in teams and groups to bring about awareness on these issues and to amplify solutions. I am interested in identifying and harnessing the synergies between and within climate and gender justice, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), biodiversity, human health and wellbeing. I firmly believe our solutions should be long-term, holistic, inclusive, sensible, people-led, ecological, and low risk. Prior to climate change work, experienced as an Environmental Scientist with a demonstrated history of working in the environmental consulting industry.
