About Azam Ali

I am material science expert. Currently working as senior scientific researcher in Technical University of Liberec, department of material engineering. Previously, I have been working as a Research Associate in National Textile Research Center, Faisalabad (Pakistan). I had accomplished my Master degree in Textile Engineering from one of the pioneer textile institution in Pakistan named as National Textile University, Faisalabad (2012~2014). My master degree research work was based on Development of natural fiber composites and enhancing their ageing properties. During my educational and practical tenure, I have been so hard working, punctual in my work and studies. During my educational career, I have gained necessary analytical and teamwork abilities to improve my professional profile. Along with my educational career, I have 2 years of industrial experience regarding textile processing ( pretreatment, dyeing, finishing) in Lab and Production, in Zafar Fabrics and Arif Textile Mills. During my job work, I have expertise for making about 10 different types of finishes regarding, hydrophobic, flame retardant, antibacterial and conductive. During my job in Research center, I have been developing, composites, electrically conductive yarns and fabrics (insitu deposition of nanoparticles, vacuum and arc spraying). I have developed conductive carbon based filleres and particles from Kevlar waste source, conductive elastomers, electrically conductive green composites. Currently, I am metallizing the almost all types of fibers/fabrics (cotton, polyester, nylon, spandex and silk Kevlar) with different techniques (chemical method, electroplating, electroless plating, nanotechnology, laser reduction). Furthermore, developing the electrodes for TENs electrotherapy machine, EMI shielding sheets. Secondly, I am making energy harvesting devices by using tribo-electrification. Moreover, working to avoid from oxidation of copper, silver and iron etc. List of IF publications is given below.
