Having 10+ years of experience in the field of IT related to Monitoring, Alerting and Incident Management. Currently Working for our client GDRFA Dubai which includes Smart Border control solutions, Smart Gates, Smart corridor, Biohub Facial recognition. Responsibilities: • Installation of Monitoring Tools, Alert configuration and bringing all the systems under monitoring. • Real Time Monitoring. • Sound Knowledge of ITIL processes and the ability to participate in these (incident, problem, change and event management) • Act as a point of contact for all Major Incidents. • Handles all first line escalations for different support teams, updates and resolves tickets as necessary. • Proactive monitoring and escalating alerts on 24/7 basis. • Incident Ticket creation in Jira and assigning to relevant team members. • OEM/GG: Monitor Oracle Golden Gate processes and performance. • Dynatrace: Monitor and analyze real time application performance through Dynatrace one monitoring tool and creating dashboards. • Monitor alerts, analyze and act accordingly depending on the criticality. • Analysis of phishing emails reported by internal end users. • HP Site Scope: Monitoring and Configuration of URL’s, ports etc. in HP Site Scope which is used for monitoring high availability environment. • Configuring alerts and custom log file monitor in Splunk. • Nagios: Configuring alerts in Nagios for production and staging environment.(File system, URL’s, ports, etc.) • Solarwinds: Network devices and links monitoring through SolarWinds tool which also includes Network traffic live monitoring and utilization. • PRTG: Monitoring availability of sites, network links. • Symantec: Escalation of Incidents received from Symantec-(Advanced Threat protection) based on priority level. • Ensure completeness of the incident information and also ensure that defined SLA's are met. • Escalating email alerts configured by Database, Unix, Middleware and network Team. • Splunk: Escalation of Incidents to be handled by L2 SOC team, when relevant. • Generating reports from different available monitoring tools as and when required and requested by relevant team. • Jira: Log all the critical and major incidents including security incidents in Jira and ensure that incidents tickets are resolved and closed by relevant team with RCA. • Ensure Service availability and continuity. • Experience working within an ITSM environment and Alignment with ITIL Processes. • Supporting shift roster of 24/7.
