I am a passionate creative who enjoys the intersection of art and technology. As a Bookstore Assistant at HACC, I enjoy the freedom to create new projects that bolster sales and assist in the technical aspects of my job. I excel at the intersection of creativity and technology, which is evident in the side projects I produce, such as writing technical directions and designing promotional materials for the bookstore.When I worked as a Librarian, I thrived when designing promotional flyers for new programs that increased teen and young adult engagement. I created, led, and promoted several programs while keeping up with day-to-day tasks. My coworkers and I were devoted to making connections with the patrons of the library in order to bolster our delightful community while fostering literacy for all ages. It was my goal to ensure that everyone felt welcome regardless of who they are. I always found myself learning new things and discovering different perspectives from helping others. If I didn't know the answer, we would find the answer together!I graduated from HACC with an Associates in Art, Highest Honors in 2021. I took several courses in Computer Science and Web Development after I earned my first Associates degree. At the moment, I am working towards my Digital Art and Technology Associates degree. I wanted to learn more about motion graphics and animation with this program. In my free time, I like to join independent game developer groups and animation projects. For the past three years, I have participated in the itch.io annual Spooktober game jam. This year, I created CG splash art for Casey in "Twisted Carnival". I also like to develop my own passion projects, such as my web comic "You're My Hero!" published on Webtoons, and a visual novel python puzzle game,"Prison BRE<3K!" When spring rolls around, I love to get out my sewing machine and make cosplay costumes with my friends. I enjoy setting up photoshoots and producing edited reels for social media. I also like to attend informative and entertaining workshops and panels at Katsucon, Otakon, and Zenkaikon. They never fail to inspire me to go even further with my artistic endeavors.
