I am a results-driven professional with over eight years of national and Gulf experience in effectively managing receipt, storage, and distribution in Engineering & Construction projects. My core competencies include material planning, vendor management, safety, quality & environment, MIS and reports, store/warehouse management, budget administration, purchase order fulfillment, and cross-functional coordination. I possess skills in conferring with establishment personnel, vendors, and project teams to coordinate production or shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays. My track record of maintaining requisition and inventory of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands adds to operational efficiency. As a team-oriented professional, I work well with others, possess self-motivation and direction, and have a resilient bias toward timely performance and problem resolution. I am currently leading a team of eight members, where I am helping them maximize their potential. During my current role as Materials Controller with China Construction Sausum India Pvt. Ltd, I am reporting to the Project Manager. My key result areas include managing a skilled team of eight members for store operations, coordinating with Project Engineers and Managers for gathering material requirements, negotiating with vendors for quotations and delivery schedules, and supervising petty cash management for any cash-based transactions. I'm also responsible for monitoring the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the facility and generating purchase orders and work orders for new purchases and rentals. Additionally, I act as an In-charge for issue, receipts, documentation, warehousing, inventory, stocking, and making computerized entries for the related items. My ability to maintain daily stock records helps us avoid delays in work, and I work closely with vendors and other personnel to ensure smooth shipping and progress activities. I am also responsible for running seminars on hazardous materials handling for new warehouse employees. Prior to my current role, I worked as an Assistant Storekeeper with QRIP-Gold Line Underground Metro Project, ALYSJ JV Doha, Qatar. I also worked as a Store In-charge with N.M. Construction Company, Mumbai. Overall, I am a growing professional with a passion for managing material and distribution flawlessly.
