About Aziz Kamara

I believe in family and community first, and I am driven by the principle that in order to make the world a better place, we must operate from a place of kindness, grace, and compassion. These values guide my professional and personal life, and I strive to embody them in every project I undertake and in every interaction I have. I also bring a unique perspective to the field of software development with a background in financial services, graphic design, and hospitality. One of my current roles is as SEIR (or Software Engineer Immersive Resident), where I provide educational assistance to a small cohort of students enrolled in an advanced 12-week programming immersive bootcamp. I am proficient in a number of different programming languages, frameworks, and libraries; including: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, React.js, React-Redux, Django, FastAPI, Bootstrap, Tailwind, and Docker. Additionally, I have hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, and AWS. In addition to my technical prowess, I possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, honed through my diverse professional experiences. My ability to think critically and approach challenges from various angles allows me to create innovative solutions and deliver high-quality code. In my role as Developer at Gametime hero, I have an established record of excellence in working with others while pair/mob programming, collaborating on ideas, and working asynchronously. I am always pushing to improve myself as a partner, a father, and a software engineer and I am often open to exploring opportunities that I may come across - if said opportunity is a fit
