About Babak Ghaffari

I am the Executive VP and CTO at aurotransit, a leading provider of total solutions and services for the transportation IT industry. I lead a team of talented engineers, developers, and researchers who work on cutting-edge projects that enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of our clients' operations. With a PhD in Optical Communications from Sharif University of Technology and a Master's Degree in Economics from Shahid Beheshti University, I have a strong background in both technical and analytical fields. I have published multiple papers in journals, obtained a patent for a new method to deploy Fiber-To-The-Home, and conducted postdoctoral research at Queen's University. I am passionate about solving complex problems, developing scalable solutions, and creating value for our customers and stakeholders. I also enjoy mentoring and coaching the next generation of technology leaders and innovators.
