About Babak Kermaninezhad

With over five years of diverse engineering and laboratory experience, I am a Master of Engineering candidate in Quality Systems Engineering at Concordia University, graduating in June 2025. My background spans product compliance, quality assurance, and research & development, with hands-on experience in both international and Canadian manufacturing environments. Throughout my career, I have contributed to the implementation of ISO 17025:2017 standards, developed test methods, validated product certifications (CSA, ASTM, FM, UL, BNQ), and supported the creation of Product Quality Plans (PQPs) aligned with strict internal and regulatory standards. During my full-time internship at IPEX, I gained valuable exposure to North American compliance systems and technical documentation practices. I also bring strong experience in refrigeration system design, component selection, and energy efficiency optimization, along with proficiency in simulation and design tools such as Ansys Fluent, SolidWorks, Aspen EDR, Python, and MATLAB. My work is driven by a passion for continuous improvement, precision, and collaboration. I’m also an active volunteer with the SPCA in Montreal, where I support animal care and public outreach initiatives.
