About Babar Zaman

I am a software engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from NED University of Engineering and Technology. I have a passion for coding and a drive to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of businesses and organizations across a range of industries. Currently, I work at Compass, where I have developed and deployed various microservices using C#, dotnet core, AspNET MVC, Postgres, Azure, Docker, and Concourse. I have also worked on the profile, risk register, and aggregation layers of the application, as well as the integration with the flowable open-source tool and the user's AWS EBS. I have resolved database migration issues, built custom pipelines, and made REST API interfaces for the application. In addition, I have collaborated with the frontend team to create a custom flow for the risk register using Retool and its deployment on AWS. I have also worked as a software application consultant at Techlogix and an information security engineer at DataCheck, where I gained valuable experience in server hardening, vulnerability assessment, security monitoring and incident response, automation of security tasks, secure coding techniques, and ISO 27001 standards. I have also honed my skills in a variety of programming languages, including Golang, Angular, NestJs, and Dotnet Core. I am always eager to learn and grow, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software development and security. I possess strong communication and problem-solving abilities, allowing me to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients alike.
