About Bachar Reda

I am Dr. Bachar Reda, an Italian and Lebanese dentist with expertise in orthodontics, gnathology, and orofacial pain. I graduated with top honors from the University of Trieste, later specializing in Orthodontics, and now serve as an Adjunct Professor and clinical instructor at the same University. In addition to my role as an Adjunct Professor, I work in multiple clinics, where I bring my skills and knowledge to a broader patient base. My dedication to improving oral health extends beyond borders, as I divide my time between Lebanon and Italy, ensuring that patients in both countries receive the highest quality of dental care. I hold the European Board of Orthodontics (EBO) certification and I served as the director of the Lebanese Orthodontics Society (LOS) until January 2024. I also established my Dental Center in Tyre, Lebanon. This center not only provides cutting-edge care but also serves as a training hub for aspiring dentists and assistants. My primary focus now lies in working tirelessly towards research endeavors, delving into the complexities of orofacial pain. My mission is to unravel the underlying causes, discover effective treatment modalities, and pioneer innovative approaches to pain management in this field. Furthermore, I have embarked on a comprehensive plan to expand the boundaries of dental knowledge. I am currently in the process of conducting groundbreaking research into orofacial pain, orthodontics and oral rehabilitation with the goal of generating novel insights, that will guide future treatments and approaches. While I have contributed significantly to this field, my commitment to further exploration underscores my dedication to long-term advancements. Additionally, my investigations into mastication, the essential process of chewing, are part of my broader vision for shaping the future of dental practice. My ongoing research in this area is aimed at providing a deeper understanding of the biomechanics and function of the oral cavity. These insights will serve as a cornerstone for refining orthodontic and functional treatment approaches, with the intention of improving patient outcomes and enhancing oral health on a deeper level. My commitment to pushing the boundaries of dental knowledge remains undeterred, and my ongoing research continues to contribute to the ever-evolving field of dental care and patient well-being. My publications serve as indispensable resources for dental practitioners, researchers, and educators, playing an integral role in the continuous improvement of dental care standards.
